At Heritage Harvests, your satisfaction is important to us. We stand behind the quality of our organic and eco-friendly products and want you to shop with confidence. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase—whether due to a defect, an error on our part, or a change of mind within the allowed period—we will work with you to find a fair solution. This Refund Policy explains the conditions and process for refunds and exchanges.
2. Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges
You may request a refund or exchange within 7 (seven) days of receiving your order, provided that the following conditions are met:
- The product is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging. We need to be able to resell or restock the item in its original condition.
- Perishable items (e.g. certain fresh or food items, if we offer them) and opened personal care or hygiene products (e.g. opened bottles, used loofahs) are generally not eligible for refund or return due to health and safety reasons. If you are unsure whether your product is eligible, please contact us before returning.
- You have the original proof of purchase (order number or order confirmation email). We may ask you to provide this when you submit your request.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the product does not meet the above conditions or if we suspect misuse or abuse of this policy.
3. How to Request a Refund or Exchange
To start a refund or exchange, please follow these steps:
- Contact us by email at info@heritageharvests.com with your order number, the product(s) you wish to return or exchange, and a brief reason for your request (e.g. wrong size, defective, change of mind). If possible, attach a photo of the product or packaging if there is damage or an issue.
- Our team will respond within 2–3 business days with instructions. If a physical return is required, we will provide you with the return address and any special instructions (e.g. how to pack the item, whether to use a specific courier).
- If you need to send the product back, please pack it securely to avoid damage in transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping method so you can confirm delivery. Return shipping costs may be your responsibility unless the return is due to our error (e.g. wrong or defective item).
- Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you and process your refund or ship the replacement (in case of exchange) as agreed. Refunds are credited to your original payment method; exchanges are shipped as per our standard shipping policy.

4. Refund Processing Time
After we receive your returned item (where a return is required), we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. The refund will be credited to the same payment method you used for the original purchase (e.g. card, UPI, net banking). Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5–10 business days (or more in some cases) for the amount to appear in your account. If you do not see the refund after this period, please contact us and we will help you trace it.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately with your order number and, if possible, photos of the product and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost to you. In such cases, we may also cover the cost of return shipping or ask you to dispose of the item and we will still process the refund or send a replacement. We apologise for any inconvenience and will do our best to resolve the issue quickly.
6. Partial Refunds
In some situations we may offer a partial refund—for example, if there is a minor issue with the product but you choose to keep it, or if only part of your order is eligible for return. We will communicate this clearly when we respond to your request. Any partial refund will be processed in the same way as a full refund (credited to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after we approve it).
7. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, variant, or product, please mention this in your initial email. Subject to availability and eligibility, we will guide you through the exchange process. If the new item has a higher price, you may need to pay the difference; if it has a lower price, we will refund the difference to you after the exchange is complete.
